Delecta Fruit Exports

Delecta Fruit exports a broad range of top quality Southern African fruit to discerning international retail and wholesale clients at destinations across the globe. The fruit we export includes citrus, apple & pear, stone fruit, table grapes, blueberries, cherries, and butternuts.

Our company was founded in 1997 and from modest beginnings we have grown steadily since then. Delecta initially focussed on table grapes, but we have since developed our business into a multi-category operation which is continuously expanding. We are solution-driven and attention to detail is part and parcel of our make-up.

As Delecta is owned by leading producers, we produce much of the fruit we market ourselves and we stand firmly behind the quality of our product. Our producer shareholders have been farming for multi-generations and strive for sustainability as a collective.

Delecta adds value to the fruit that we produce, through strong technical support and by managing the full logistical supply chain, from farms across Southern Africa, through the packing and shipping process to the point when we deliver the product to our receivers.

Although we operate in many fruit production areas across South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe, we are based in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. Our main office is in Paarl, and we have an operational office in the Ceres Valley production region.

Our company’s focus is predominantly on the export marketing of fruit, and we have also developed a flourishing market for fruit on the South African domestic market.

Delecta is a member of the Fresh Producers’ Exporters Forum and the Agricultural Produce Agents’ Council.
